With the agent installed
DNS shows where a device went. The agent shows what is on it and where it is — examined on the device, with findings reported and content left where it was.
Where the device is
Its own location services, typically to tens of metres — reported separately from the far rougher network location, and never blended with it.
Photos, video and files
Hashed and scored on the device by an on-device model. A flagged file is named with its path; the file itself never leaves.
Every drive it can read
External drives, USB sticks, memory cards and network shares — and a drive is scanned within seconds of being plugged in.
Apps that change the picture
VPNs, vault apps, remote-control tools and stalkerware on the device are named, with what each one does to coverage.

What raises an alert
Wording about suicide or self-harm, threats to harm others, and organised-hate material, found in documents and file names on the device.
What you are shown
The file, where it is, and the words that matched — so the judgement is made by a person looking at what was actually written.
What it is not
A verdict. "No alert raised" is a statement about the files scanned, not about the person, and the page never says "all clear".
It reads wording in files and nothing else: not messages, calls, or what is said in a video. It cannot tell a diary from song lyrics or a quotation from an intention.

Is this spyware?
No. MyPathKeeper is consented monitoring for a device you own or are legally authorized to supervise — a parent protecting a minor, or an organisation monitoring its own equipment. It is not for covertly tracking another adult.
What can it actually see and block?
There are two layers, and you choose how far to go. DNS protection, with nothing installed, reports the sites and categories a device reaches and blocks porn, gambling and other risky categories. The agent, where you install it, adds what DNS cannot see: where the device is, which apps are on it, and the files, photos and video it holds — examined on the device, with only findings reported. It does not read messages, emails or calls, and it is not a keylogger.
What devices does it work on?
DNS protection works on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows — or cover an entire network in one step by pointing your router at MyPathKeeper. The agent runs on Android and Mac today; Windows and Linux agents are in testing, and an iPhone app is in testing with what Apple permits (location and its own browser, not files).
Will I know if someone removes it?
Yes. If a device stops routing through MyPathKeeper — a removed profile, a deleted app — that's flagged as a tamper alert rather than quietly showing nothing. A VPN is named too, whether it is an app or only a configuration in the system settings, and so is a browser set to do its own encrypted DNS.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your activity data lives on your own MyPathKeeper collection node — it is not resold or handed to advertisers.
